Several years ago I was invited to a Camp Meeting which I was going to participate in by doing a "Warfare" dance in tap. I had been invited to several meetings in that year but this one was different. Tata Vega was singing at this meeting and she was so anointed. During the day we had some activities outside on the streets of Highland and Hollywood and it was quite exciting, but what happened that night is what I will never forget.
I always was directed by God what demonic spirits I would take down in that region, but I said to the Lord that week that I was tired of going after the demonic and could I do something that would be in the realm of the fruits of the spirit, and the Lord answered, “I was waiting for you to ask me”.
So that night I began to dance and the Lord said to me, "Go after the Spirit of Bitterness." So I began to tell the Spirit of Bitterness to go. With my tap shoes on I then began stomping and wielding my sword. (A side note: I do a spiritual warfare dance in tap with the Full Armor of God on, kind of like a Roman soldier). I knew that I was in the spirit realm taking the enemy down. Then God said, "Now loose the Spirit of Sweetness." The music and the atmosphere began to change and the beautiful presence of the Lord in that room was overwhelming. It was a success! We had defeated the enemy and sweetness was in the atmosphere.
It only gets better. I went to the back of the room to get a drink of water and to get my breath back and try to relax. Scott David, the speaker, had gotten up to speak and a man in the crowd was raising his hand fervently. Finally Mr. David called upon him. "Yes, Sir."
The man stood up and asked, "Could I please come and tell what has just happened to me?" Mr. David said yes. The man moved to the front of the room and began to say, "I came here tonight to see a tap dancer and had no idea that she would be speaking about my life. I have been bitter with my wife because she took my children away from me because she found out that I had molested them. I can say tonight I forgive her and I give my life to Jesus Christ." The man gave his life to Jesus that night and was filled with the Holy Ghost.
No matter where you are at today God will forgive you and change you into the person he wants you to be. Just say YES TO JESUS.
